Lucy's Kitchen

You know when a restaurant is good when you eat lunch there twice in one week! The lucky first time I got to try the cuisine was when my department celebrated a co-worker's birthday and today I procured 'to-go' for three. Lucy's Kitchen in Burien, WA has a diverse Chinese menu that, quite honestly,  just can't be beat by any other in our local area! So far, I've tried the Curry Chicken and the Sweet and Sour Pork...and both were delicious. Portions for lunch are IMMENSE, range in cost from $5.25 to $6.75 and come with steamed or fried rice & egg flower or hot sour soup & a fortune cookie! Believe me, there is absolutely way too much for one person to eat at one sitting.  The owner, Xiaoyu Wang (Lucy),  has a welcoming charismatic energy that makes you want to come back for more of her delicious Szechuan, Shanghai or Clay Pot specialties. You can order online and free delivery is available within a limited area for as little as $15, minimum. The atmosphere is uncluttered with comfortable chairs and tables complete with lazy susan turntables if you want to share. So the next time you have a craving for Egg Foo Yung, Fish in Black Bean Sauce, Moo Shu Pork, Salt & Chili Pepper Fried Shrimp, Sliced Beef with Oyster Sauce or 3 kinds of Duck, stop by and visit Lucy! Tasty, tasty, tasty!
